Hallowe’en Costumes for Barnaby and Eric.

Last week when Mrs Mackay was unwell, Mrs Nesbitt suggested that we could think of some Hallowe’en costumes that Barnaby  and Eric could wear. On Monday when Mrs Mackay was back we designed some costumes for them.We think they are all really good.I made Barnaby a vampire and Eric a tiger (Lauren). I made Barnaby a Witch (Leila). Mrs Mackay is going to add some of our pictures to this post so watch this space and let us know what you think.

Hallowe’en is a scary time. You dress up as something scary like a vampire, a devil or a witch and you go to visit people that you know and they give you sweeties. You can keep them in a bag.You go out guising after school at about 5 o’clock when it is dark. Guising just means that you are visiting people when you are in disguise.Before you get your sweeties you have to do something like tell ajoke, sing a song or do a dance.Hallowe’en is on the 31st of October. It is really good fun!

We all got lots of sweeties for telling jokes. We went to visit Mrs Mackay at her house and she gave us a bag with sweeties and crisps and fruit as a special treat.

There was a school disco last Friday and we all dressed up for that too , there was a fancy dress competition but none of us won.
