Our Families

Mrs Mackay asked us all to write a little bit about our families. We are all very lucky to have people who care about us and look after us. Those people are your family and Mrs Mackay says that families come in all different shapes and sizes. She even says that our class at school is a bit like a family because we look after each other and care about each other too. Keep reading to find out about our families at home.

My Family by Leah

 

In my family there is my mum, my dad, my brother and me. My brother is older than me by four years. He goes to Dingwall Academy and is also very good at football. My mum loves to read murder mysteries and my Dad really like playing golf. I like to read too and I am very good at Highland Dancing.My brother and I are very musical and I play the piano and my brother plays the bagpipes and the rock drums.We have four goldfish called Goldie,Pepper, Fishy and Spot. On a Sunday my family loves to go out for our Sunday dinner.Our favourite time of the day is dinner time because we all sit round the table and tell each other about our day.

 I live with my mum, dad and brother. We have two cats called Cosmo and Misty. We also have a fish called Ugly. I have lots of cousins but none of them live in Ding wall. I have two granny and Granda’s one great Granny and one great Granda again my great granny and granda don’t live in Dingwall but my granny and granda’s do live in Dingwall. I love it when my cousins come up to see me because most of them are older and I love playing with them. I hope that you enjoyed reading about my family.

 Hi my name is Andrea I am in P6, I will share with you about my family. I have a wonderful family, my mum and dad are both working in a hotel and really work hard to meet our needs. I have a little sister in primary one and she loves to be in school. My family like to do things together like cooking, cleaning the house, and sometimes we play at the park. When I got home from school I always do my homework first. My mom said that I should study well so that I will get a good job and reach my dream someday. My family is quite large. I have a brother, a Mum, a Dad, a dog called Keira, a Granny and, a Grandad, and lots more. Me and my mum are very art and crafty. My brother is 5years old, and I am 9. My brother  is very clumsy he has had lo go to casualty 3 times. The first time was when he cracked his head open then he had a poisoned thumb, and on the 16^th of July he broke his wrist. ALL ABOUT MY FAMILY                                                                                                                                                                                                   Hi I am Shauni and I am going to tell you about my family .I am 11 years old I have a little sister called she is 6 years old. I also have a Mum, Dad and two cats. I live in Dingwall. We all like to go on family holidays. Me and my sister like to jump into swimming pools.On a Sunday we all like to have family dinner at home. My name is Abigail ( Abbie) and I am 10 ½. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters.They are 7, 14 19.The boys are called 20, 12 and 4. We live near the school and go shopping every Friday at 4 p.m. The oldest two live in Edinburgh and one brother lives with our Granny. We get a pound for every day we clean our bedrooms and helping around the house. My Dad works but my mum works at home. My three eldest brother and sisters work too. We have a roast every Sunday and have a takeaway every month.

 My name is Amy and I live with my Mum, Dad and my brother. I have one cat , we like to go out for the day on a Saturday we go shopping and go to visit our family. We sometimes go to the beach that is near our auntie’s. Sometimes my brother goes golfing on a Saturday . My mum and dad work so we my nana sometimes looks after us after school. I play the piano and granda takes me. So that’s what I do with my family.

 Hi my name is Beth I am 11 years old. I go to Dingwall Primary school. I live with my mum , dad, big brother and my little sister. I have a dog called Milly and a pet fish.

 Hi I live with my 8 year old sister and my mum and step – dad and my 3 year old cat Tiggy. Tiggy is very funny one time she jumped couch to couch. On Saturday she ran into the door! In my Dad’s house I live with my Dad and my step – mum.

My family is cool because my dad knows nearly everything and if he doesn’t he has a book that does. My mum has big hugs and and practices E.F.T (emotional freedom technique) which helps me when I am troubled. She also cooks the best Yorkshire puddings in the world! My sister is funny and pulls faces and is good to play with. I like our family study best where we spend time together learning about bible stories and how they can help us in our life today. In my family there are five girls and one boy.These are my step – sisters and my half brother. I am the youngest and I live with my mum and my three guinea pigs called Coco , Candy and Connie. I have 2 grannies, 4 aunties, 2 uncles and lots of cousins. I have 3 nieces and one nephew and sister –in – law. Last but not least Dad who lives down the road but I see him every day.

 This is a little note about my mum, dad, brother and me.

My mum is 31 years old and coming up 32.She is nice and a bit funny. My mum loves music and T.V. programmes. Her favourites are Coronation Street and Eastenders. My mum’s favourite band is The King’s of Leon and lots more. She likes a lot of singers. My mum has two favourite colours , red and purple. She is always on the computer for her Bebo and other stuff or on her phone. My mum always says I love you to me and my brother.

My dad is 46 years old and he is really really funny. My dad loves TNA and Queen. They are my dads favourite singers. My dad loves D.V.D.s , he has about 990, his favourite is Aliens. His he loves it!My Dad’s favourite colour is black.When he has a bottle of beer he always says cheers big ears to me and I say it back.When I go to bed at night he says night night and waits for me to say I love you and when I say it he laughs and says it at the same time because I wait for one or two minutes.

My little brother is 6 years old and will be 7 this month. He is in primary 2 and he is cute, funny and strong. Leon loves cars and transformers and the Simpsons and a lot more.His favourite colour is blue and his favourite number is 7. He is always playing with cars or lego and playing with his best friend.He always says no or why. His favourite teddy is a long cat.By Shannon

 I live with my mum and my twin brother. I actually have 4 brothers and 1 sister but they are older and don’t live at home. My mum speaks Gaelic sometimes and she is very funny. She sings when she is cooking. She is a good cook and so are my older brothers and sister. My twin is very good at Maths and loves computers. I hate Maths but I adore computers.

 I live with my mum, dad and my two older sisters. We also have a hamster, two fish and a dog. I am really good at my trials bike and football and on a Saturday I usually play for the school soccer sevens team. Sometimes my whole family go to the cinema together. We often go to my granny’s for our dinner on a Sunday. She lives in Cromarty and she is a very young granny. I like playing on my PS3 my favourite game is Fifa 09. When Ross County play whether it’s home or away I always go to see them. School’s okay because you get to play football and see all your friends.

In my family there is me and my two sisters and my little brother. I have a mum and a dad. My dad is the chef in the royal hotel. We have a hamster called Woody because he is the colour of wood. This is my family by Liam M.

  My mum works in the school as a cleaner and my Dad is a web technician. When my Mum and Dad are working I go to my Gran’s and she picks me up from school with my Grandad. My Gran and Grandad are retired. My brother is 6 years old and he is in Primary Two. My name is Nathan and I am !0 and I am in Primary 6.

 My name is Liam B.I live with my mum and dad. I also have a brother and I have no pets. My hobbies are trials biking, football and shinty. My brother likes mountain biking.

Hi my name is Brogan and I am the youngest in my family. I have one older brother and one older sister. I have a mum and dad and I also have two dogs and two guinea pigs. And that’s my family.

 

Hi my name is Brooke and I live with my mum,dad,and my three sisters . We live in Dingwall but we might be moving soon because we have sold our house. We are  going to stay at granny’s for a while until we  buy a new one. I like rock climbing and I go with my friend sometimes at the weekend with my Dad. I go horse riding with my Granny and her horses  stay at her house so when we go to stay I can brush them in the morning.I like going swimming and I love the flume it is good fun. By Brooke
