Happy Drummers  1.5.08

Today at 11.30 there are some people coming to perform drumming with us and we might join in with them. It is 11.30 a.m. right now!

First we had to go in a big circle then we were clapping and doing funny dancing in the circle. We had to copy what he said and did. There were loads of drums in the middle of the room. After that we did funny things and we all got a drum each to play. We learned lots of stuff with Steve he had a helper with special drums he was a funny man.

We just went to the drumming it was great but our hands are really sore. Some of our hands are red and pink. We played on special African drums that were carved. The men were called Jason and Steve it was great.

Today the class went to the music room to play the drums with three men and we all had to say the words.

We have the day off school on Monday - have a great long weekend everyone see you all on Tuesday - from Mrs Mackay.

At the long weekend it is Gavin’s birthday and he is taking some friends. Callum J is going swimming and Callum G is having Willie - John round to visit.Gavin is going to Landmark and if Callum J is not going swimming he might go to Landmark with Gavin.

The Long Weekend

At the weekend I went to Inverness to go out with my granny and I got a Rangers top. I got Daniel 9 written on the back of it, I also got a football. I got some silver hair spray for my brother. We were going to got to Jimmy Chungs but we went to Wetherspoons and then we got the bus back to my granny’s house.

At the weekend  I went to Bught Park with my Dad and Charlie we went on everything and then we went on the steam train. It was fun and when we stopped we went to the boats I had a shot at rowing it was so hard so we got off and went home. On Monday I had a BBQ it was nice and then we went home and me and Deon played the PS2.

Regan 6.5.08

At the weekend I was helping my mum with the gardening. We were putting up a new fence but first we pulled the old one out and then we went for an ice –lolly. Then it got dark so we went inside I played my DS and then went on the computer and talked to my cousin. The next day I went to the shops with my mum we saw my brother with my Granny at Tesco we went home and went to bed.
