Writer’s Craft this week

Here is our version of John Kitching’s famous poem “Don’t”
We hope you like it!

Don’t

Don’t do this, don’t do that.
Don’t run in school.
Don’t touch the cat.
Don’t fiddle with your glasses.
Don’t give cheek.
Don’t annoy your friends.
Don’t be bad all week.
Don’t play on the railings.
Don’t swing on your chair.
Don’t slide down the banister.
Don’t touch anyone’s hair.
Don’t break that pencil.
Don’t touch the teacher’s glue.

So many things I mustn’t —-
Whatever can I do ?
