Inspectors Visiting Dingwall Primary

Inspectors  are  coming  to  our  school  to  talk  to  people  and  to  see  if  this  school  is  good  for  kids  to  learn.  They  gave  us  a  quiz - not  everyone   got  a  quiz  the  quiz  was  about  this school.  They will be here for a whole week.  They will be going to every class. Mrs Mackay says that they might ask some of us some questions about our class and the work we do. We are looking forward to telling them all about it and showing them our blogspot.

Class Moves

Our teacher Mrs Mackay got us a brilliant calendar from Mr Mackenzie but it is a very special calendar because we can use it for class moves and it is a type of exercise.  She also got a book and a CD.  We have not used it yet but we think it will be great fun!  We have tried the CD and it was like this, first we had to stand behind our chairs and then the music tells us what to do.  We do things like stomping our feet and we moved our whole body all over the place. Then we had to pretend to wash our hands, face, tummy and chest. Afterwards we were very tired but at least it keeps us fit and healthy. That is how we do class moves. Mrs Mackay says that it is good to do exercise in class as it helps our brains to work better.

New Topic

Everyday in the afternoon we get topic work. Our topic is about people who lived in Dingwall a long time ago. We made time lines about our lives.  It was fun doing it.  All of the class made a map about the British Isles, we had to make a key and colour in the map the right colours. After that we stuck them in our new books.
