Andrea’s holiday

I’m going on  holiday to America for a month starting February the 1^st. We will go to Disney world, New Jersey. New York, Washington D.C. and maybe Canada. I’m planning to buy some souvenirs to show in my class and have some fun and enjoy it. First I’m going to Disney world for a week then New Jersey for another a week then New York then Washington D.C. I’m not sure if I’m going to Canada. I’m really excited and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m really lucky to have a holiday like that.

Inspectors!

Dingwall Primary inspector visit.

Today the inspectors are coming to Dingwall primary to see how the teachers are getting on and to see how the pupils are getting on with their teachers. They are visiting every class, some more than others. They are visiting our class at quarter past two today. Our subject for the inspectors to see us do is our blogspot.

Earthquake Horror

THE EARTHQUAKE OF HAITI

ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO AN UNEXPECTED EARHQUAKE HIT THE PEOPLE OF HAITI. PEOPLE WERE HOMELESS, NOWHERE TO GO AND WORSE OF ALL NO FAMILY TO BE SEEN. AS DAYS WENT ON PEOPLE WERE PULLED OUT OF THE REMAINS BUT MANY DIED. PEOPLE FROM AMERICA HAVE DROPPED FIRST AID THINGS AND FOOD. CHILDREN WITH NO FAMILIES ARE IN AMERICA TO BE TREATED AND WILL BE ADOPTED BY AMERICAN,SPANISH AND FRENCH FAMILIES.
THEY ARE STARTING TO GIVE UP BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE WILL BE DEAD AND HARD TO FIND.

Hats for Haiti

Hats for Haiti

Dingwall Primary School is having a ‘Hats for Haiti’ this Friday. What happens is all the pupils and teachers bring in a hat it is also on the same day as fruity Friday. On fruity Friday we all bring in a peace of fruit and we can dress down. Fruity Friday happens every time the month ends. But instead of bringing fruit in since this is for Haiti we bring in money to help rebuild the houses and buy food and drink for the people of Haiti. We also get to dress down on Friday and bring in a hat.
We hope to raise lots of cash!!!

Children in Need

CHILDREN IN NEED

Every year our school (Dingwall Primary) does something for Children in Need.  This year we are dressing up as cartoon characters to raise money to help. The money goes to children everywhere who need help for all  different reasons. Watch out for photos and more info coming soon.

School Discos

    Hallowe`en disco

The school has disco’s  for Hallowe`en  Christmas and Easter. At the disco there is music and food. I dressed up as Scream, my brother Aidan was a vampire. Aidan is my brother his disco is half seven until quarter to eight and my disco was eight o’clock  until nine o’clock  it is one pound fifty to get in and pay for your snack.
